The Math Team was formed to provide interested students an opportunity to strengthen their math skills in a fun, competitive environment. The Math Team is open to any student and will be an enrichment activity that takes place after-school and on Saturdays.  Students on the Math Team will experience the same excitement of competition and thrill of a win as student-athletes, but their “sport” is math. Students will also develop self-confidence and skills in cooperation and teamwork, which is essential for success in college and in the workforce.

The Actuaries will develop a mentoring relationship with Math Team students. The Actuarial Foundation mentors will attend practices and provide valuable assistance working with students one-on-one and in small groups.
