Marian Middle School’s math program uses Junior Achievement’s Finance Park and actuarial mentors to provide enjoyable, hands-on activities that will improve the 8th grade students’ core math skills. Junior Achievement’s Finance Park is an economics program for 8th graders introducing personal finance and career explorations through classroom instruction and hands-on experience. Using alternative learning experiences, students develop the math proficiency needed for academic achievement, steady employment and economic independence.

The Actuarial Foundation mentors provide assistance to students giving them individual instruction and practice in achieving improved math skills.
