The Actuarial Foundation’s Advancing Student Achievement (ASA) mentoring program continues at Winnetonka High School.
Mentoring opportunities will allow you to:
Work with students: Work with high school students on after school mathematics enrichment activities, technology and workplace connections. Help students learn real world applications of mathematical concepts!
Participate in innovation: Mentors will have a variety of activities to choose from including Odyssey of the Mind preparation, career-related math projects, assistance with rocket building, participation in data collection and analysis, coaching for math competitions, participating in We All Use Math Everyday activities, sports math and playing math games.
Work in a fun environment: Enrichment activities will take place on Wednesday’s after school from 2:30-4:00pm, every other week. Mentors are invited to participate in as many activities as their schedules allow and a training session will be provided.
