“The Actuarial Foundation Launches New Web site”

Schaumburg, IL: The Actuarial Foundation is pleased to announce their brand new Web site (www.actuarialfoundation.org) earlier this month coinciding with the Foundation’s 15th Anniversary. The new site will enable users to access content more easily through improved navigation, provide a more branded, contemporary look and feel, and tell a visual story that imbues its purpose in preparing for tomorrow’s possibilities through education.”

In addition to celebrating its 15 Anniversary, the new Web site will:

Share stories of the Foundation which has provided more than $4 million in grants supporting math programs and projects reaching millions of kids including the award winning turn-key program Shake, Rattle & Roll.
Make consumer education materials more accessible to continue helping thousands of adults make informed decisions, particularly in these economic times.
Steward research to continue expanding the profession’s body of knowledge by offering research grants and access to its published research, and information on its awards and prizes.
Direct deserving students to the many available scholarships to aid them in their educational pursuits towards a career in the actuarial profession.
